Well Springville to be exact, but they are close by.
So we had to make a little detour and stay near a major airport so John could fly to meet his daughter and grandson. From what he’s told me the visit was well worth it.
This is them all together and him getting drooled on! John is going to be an awesome grandpa.

So while all of this was going on, I hung out with the kids until Poppy showed up.
I got lucky and was given a lead on a gym in Springville so Addy could get in some actual gymnastics time. This was a great distraction from being in a super cramped Campground with no pool and 90 degree temps!
She really seems to be a natural, and we now have another required item for our landing place when this trip ends!
Day 1 was floor and bar work.

Day 2 was beam and vault.

On Day 3, Poppy had arrived and got to watch a little bit of all four (though bar was tough because of some tender hands).
She was super stoked to get her aerial (even on the tumble track).
And her hand stand and cartwheel on beam.
She fell in love with Vault!
So in addition to gymnastics, we watched a movie each night together (Alex and Andie included) and finished a few puzzles!

With Poppy, there were late night basketball games, Monopoly and Uno challenges!
We even had our first Chick-fil-A experience! Quite the 5 days!
